Floral Atelier · Seattle · Since 2007

Weddings, hand-built
stem by stem.

Hani Hani designs wedding florals the way couturiers design gowns — slowly, deliberately, and traceable to the field. Every stem is sourced from one of our thirty-eight certified partner growers and shaped in our Ballard studio before it reaches your day.

How we work

From first sketch to final stem, the process is a collaboration.

A Hani Hani wedding begins months before the first bloom is cut. Four chapters shape every couple's work with the atelier — anchored by your lead designer and supported by our twenty-two-person senior team.

  1. Chapter I

    The consultation

A ninety-minute studio visit — or a long call, if you live beyond driving distance — where we listen to the season, the venue, the palette already forming in your imagination, and the quiet moments you want flowers to mark. We leave with a working brief and a guestimate of stem count.

  2. Chapter II

    The mood board

Two weeks later, your lead designer returns a hand-bound concept book: vessel studies, ribbon and linen swatches, photographed samples from our partner farms, and three palette directions rooted in what's actually blooming that month. We refine together until the room feels inevitable.

  3. Chapter III

    The sourcing walk

Ten days before the wedding, we visit the partner farms whose bloom windows align with your date. Each stem is reserved, traced, and climate-staged in our Ballard studio. Nothing is generic; everything is named — grower, field, harvest morning.

  4. Chapter IV

    The install

Our install team arrives in our custom climate-stable vans — built to hold every bloom at fifty-two degrees until the moment it's placed. Installation typically begins six to eight hours before the ceremony and finishes while you're still getting ready, calm and unseen.

What I didn't expect was how much the flowers would hold the day together. Hani and her team built the room before we walked into it — and then quietly took it apart at the end. Our mothers still talk about the arch.

Editorial recognition

The work has been seen — and recognized — by the editors couples trust.

Press mentions matter less to us than they probably should. But for couples researching a florist at midnight, the editors' nods carry weight — and we're grateful to be among the studios they keep returning to.

  • Vogue Weddings — Top 10 Floral Studios in North America

Named in 2023, 2024, and 2025 — the only Pacific Northwest studio to hold the distinction in consecutive years. The annual list is shaped from on-the-ground reporting and editor-set standards, not paid placement.

  • Martha Stewart Weddings — Floral Design Feature

A 2024 editorial on naturalistic wedding palettes featured our work for Iris & Noa, including the full sourcing story from San Juan Island to the studio's assembly floor.

  • The Knot — Best of Weddings Hall of Fame

Inducted in 2018 and sustained every year since. Hall of Fame status is granted to vendors who have appeared on Best of Weddings for a minimum of four consecutive years across verified reviews.

  • Architectural Digest — Studio Visit

A 2023 long-form profile of our Ballard flagship — fourteen thousand square feet of climate-controlled design floor, walk-in coolers, and the working library our senior designers return to when a brief resists easy answers.

Collections

Three collections, each shaped around a different kind of wedding.

Our 2024 average wedding package lands at $1,840 — the Estate collection below. Every collection is fully bespoke; the names indicate scope, not template. Stem counts are anchored to your guest list, venue, and bloom calendar, not to a fixed number.
